What do you need to use this method?

1) You need a chromatic mountain dulcimer / Appalachian dulcimer (not a hammered dulcimer).  Chromatic is very important for this method.  This means that the dulcimer has all the frets.  (In a traditional dulcimer, some of the frets are missing; but you need frets for every half step.)

2) You need the tuning that I teach.

I will provide the tuning, and everything that is needed in order to play songs using the ModernMusicDulcimer method, for free on this website and on my YouTube channel.  I will also be posting some covers and some tutorials on my YouTube channel.  

I also plan to provide additional charts, e-books, etc., for a small fee on my Patreon page and on the store that I will open on this website, to enhance the basic material that is provided for free and to save you time and effort in figuring these things out for yourself.
